CoachPlus is a booking platform built from the ground up for independent sports coaches. No bolt-on features, no big-company overhead — just the tools a solo coach actually uses.
Why we're building it
Independent coaches, tutors and teachers deserve better software.
We kept meeting coaches, tutors and music teachers who were juggling three apps, a spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group to run their week. Clients booking by text. Payments by bank transfer. No-shows eating into Saturday mornings.
The existing tools were either (a) built for hair salons and nail bars - bloated with features teachers don't need and missing the ones they do - or (b) US-based, with opaque payouts and no local support.
So we built CoachPlus for the people who just want to teach. Clear pricing. New Zealand banking. Payments handled, cancellations handled, no-shows handled. A tool that gets out of the way.

Every feature starts with the same question: "does this help me coach or teach more, or just add admin?" If it's the latter, it doesn't ship.

Clever software breeds tutorials and support tickets. Simple software just works. We pick simple every time.
New Zealand-made
Built in Auckland. Support answered in NZT. GST handled. Banking in NZD via local Stripe. No 3am Slack chats with a product team in another hemisphere.
Human support
You get a real person on email and a phone number for emergencies. Not a chatbot, not a ticket queue, not a round-robin.
Where we are
Starting in Auckland, open to anyone who teaches.
We started with tennis coaches in Auckland, and quickly met tutors, music teachers and swim instructors with exactly the same admin problem. So CoachPlus is for all of them. As demand arrives, we add new subjects, sports and regions - usually within a week of people signing up.
Whether you tutor NCEA maths, teach piano, coach tennis or football, run swim or dance classes, or train clients in the gym - if you run independent sessions in New Zealand, CoachPlus is built for you.
